Scotlands Wonderful Winnock Turkey & Tinsel

Day 1

We travel north with suitable comfort stops en route to our overnight stay at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Preston.

Day 2

After breakfast, we continue our journey into Scotland, arriving at the Winnock Hotel in Drymen with time to settle in before dinner. This evening, begin your festive break with included drinks and entertainment.

Day 3

After breakfast, we visit the historic city of Stirling, where you'll have free time to explore its charming old town, browse the shops or perhaps visit the impressive Stirling Castle. This afternoon, we continue to the nearby Glengoyne Distillery for a guided tour and whisky tasting before returning to the hotel. This evening, celebrate Christmas Day with a traditional Christmas dinner, a visit from Father Christmas and festive entertainment.

Day 4

This morning we travel to Leith to visit the magnificent Royal Yacht Britannia, the former floating residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Explore the beautifully preserved State Apartments, Crew's Quarters and Royal Deck before continuing into Edinburgh, where you'll have free time to explore Scotland's capital at your leisure. This evening, we return to the hotel for a traditional Hogmanay four-course Scottish dinner with a piper and Highland dancer, followed by the hotel's open bar.

Day 5

After breakfast, we travel to the beautiful shores of Loch Lomond, where we enjoy an included cruise on Scotland's most famous loch, taking in the spectacular scenery and tranquil waters. We then return to the Winnock Hotel for an included lunch of soup, sandwiches and tea or coffee before spending a relaxing afternoon at leisure Take time to enjoy the hotel's facilities, explore the picturesque village of Drymen or simply unwind before your final evening of festive hospitality and entertainment.

Day 6

Following a farewell hot toddy, we bid farewell to the Winnock Hotel and begin our journey home. Relax and enjoy the scenic drive south with suitable comfort stops en route, arriving back in West Wales during the evening after a wonderful festive Scottish break.
