MCARTHUR GLEN & PORTHCAWL
A lovely day out combining shopping and traditional seaside fun. McArthur Glen Designer Outlet at Bridgend offers great discounts on luxury and high street brands, all conveniently located in a purpose-built out-of-town shopping centre. There are plenty of opportunities to shop and eat here.
Porthcawl is a lovely coastal town and holiday resort between Cardiff and Swansea with views over the Bristol Channel. Walk along the seafront promenade built in 1887 to commemorate Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee, where you can have an ice cream or coffee. Porthcawl has seven beaches, a museum, an RNLI Lifeboat station and just behind the Esplanade, you will find a range of independent shops and cafés as well as high street brands; plenty of oppoertunities to relax for a few hours.
Altogether a lovely summer day out!
