Ireland Tralee, Dingle & Wild Atlantic Way

Day 1

Take the afternoon ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare and continue onto our overnight stay at The Dooleys Hotel in Waterford.

Day 2

After breakfast, we continue our journey to Tralee, stopping en route at the famous Midleton Distillery Experience, home of Jameson Irish Whiskey. Enjoy a guided tour and tasting before we continue to the Ashe Hotel in Tralee for our evening meal.

Day 3

Today we enjoy a full day guided tour of the spectacular Dingle Peninsula, one of Ireland's most scenic coastal routes along the Wild Atlantic Way. Discover dramatic coastline, rugged mountains, charming villages and breathtaking views as our guide brings the history, culture and stories of this beautiful part of County Kerry to life.

Day 4

Enjoy a visit to the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, which recalls the nostalgic era when Foynes became the centre of the aviation world between 1937 and 1945, followed by an Irish coffee. This afternoon we visit the picturesque village of Adare, renowned for its charming thatched cottages, boutique shops and cosy cafés, where you will have free time to explore at leisure.

Day 5

Today we visit the magnificent Muckross House & Gardens, a stunning Victorian mansion set within the beautiful scenery of Killarney National Park. Enjoy time to explore the elegant house, gardens and surroundings at leisure before returning to Tralee for some free time. Tonight, we enjoy an earlier evening meal before heading across to Roundy's Bar, a quirky traditional Irish bar opposite the hotel, where we enjoy live entertainment and a true taste of Irish hospitality.

Day 6

After a leisurely breakfast, we begin our journey to our overnight hotel, stopping en route at Blarney Woollen Mills. Enjoy time to browse the famous Irish store and café, or perhaps take a short walk to the nearby Blarney Castle & Gardens (entry not included), home of the legendary Blarney Stone. We then continue to our hotel in time for our evening meal.

Day 7

An early start this morning as we make our way to the ferry for our return sailing back to Wales, with breakfast included on board. We arrive back home early this afternoon following a wonderful Irish break.
