Winter Wonderland On The Rhine (River Cruise)

Day 1

Please Note: Tour pick-ups commence on Thursday 25th November, with overnight travel to Folkestone, where we board LeShuttle for the crossing to France before continuing into Belgium. We arrive at the Novotel Leuven Centrum on Friday, where dinner is included before our overnight stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, we continue into Germany and board the elegant MS VIVA ONE in Düsseldorf. Settle into your cabin, where a welcome sparkling wine awaits, before we begin our all-inclusive cruise along the Rhine. This evening, relax over dinner as the ship sets sail for Cologne.

Day 3

This morning we arrive in the magnificent city of Cologne, home to one of Europe's most impressive cathedrals and one of Germany's largest Christmas Markets. Spend time exploring the festive stalls, browse the shops or admire the city's historic architecture. This afternoon, we continue to Bonn, the birthplace of Beethoven, where you'll have free time to soak up the festive atmosphere before returning to the ship.

Day 4

Today we arrive in the historic city of Mainz. Wander through the charming Old Town, admire the impressive cathedral, browse the traditional Christmas Market or simply relax with a coffee overlooking the Rhine. The ship remains in Mainz overnight, allowing plenty of time to enjoy this festive riverside city.

Day 5

After a leisurely morning sailing along the beautiful Rhine, we arrive in Koblenz, where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet. Explore the picturesque Old Town, visit the Christmas Market or admire the famous Deutsches Eck before returning on board for the Captain's Farewell Gala Dinner this evening.

Day 6

After breakfast, we disembark in Düsseldorf and travel back into Belgium for our overnight stay at the Globales Post Hotel, Liège, where dinner is included this evening.

Day 7

Following breakfast, we continue our journey home via LeShuttle, making suitable comfort stops along the way before arriving back in West Wales.
