Paignton & The Christmas Train of Lights

Day 1

We depart and make our way to Paignton making comfort stops on our route, getting to our hotel early evening.

Day 2

Merry Christmas! For all those who have been good this year, Father Christmas has left a little gift on your breakfast table. After breakfast we head out on an excursion in Devon. In the evening, a traditional Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings will be served.

Day 3

Following breakfast, enjoy a leisurely day in Paignton. Take a stroll along the seafront, browse the local shops or simply relax at the hotel before tonight's unforgettable highlight. This evening, we travel to Queen's Park Station to board the spectacular Christmas Train of Lights. Step aboard beautifully restored vintage carriages adorned with thousands of twinkling lights before setting off on a magical journey along the Dartmouth Steam Railway. Travelling through the enchanting illuminated woodland, you'll experience dazzling festive displays, colourful light installations and magical scenes that transform the beautiful River Dart valley into a Christmas wonderland. After reaching Kingswear, there will be an opportunity to step onto the platform to admire the sparkling riverside views before returning to Paignton, enjoying the spectacular displays from a whole new perspective.

Day 4

All good things must come to an end and sadly the day of departure has arrived. After breakfast, we will make our way home with comfort stops en route.
