Isle of Wight - Im Dreaming of a Wight Christmas

Day 1

We travel to Portsmouth with suitable comfort stops en route before boarding our ferry to the Isle of Wight. On arrival at the Royal Esplanade Hotel, enjoy a warm festive welcome with a glass of sherry, tea, coffee and mince pies before settling into your room and enjoying your evening meal.

Day 2

After breakfast, we begin our day with a scenic tour of the Isle of Wight, taking in some of the island's most beautiful scenery, including Shanklin Old Village, The Needles and other picturesque locations along the way. This afternoon, we visit Osborne House, the magnificent former seaside residence of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Explore the elegant State Rooms, discover the royal family's private apartments and enjoy a fascinating glimpse into Victorian royal life before returning to our hotel.

Day 3

Today we visit the island's county town of Newport, where you'll have free time to browse the shops, explore the historic streets or relax in one of the many cafés. This afternoon, we continue to Cowes, the island's world-famous sailing town, where you'll have time to stroll along the waterfront, admire the marina and browse the independent boutiques before returning to our hotel.

Day 4

Today is yours to enjoy at leisure in the popular seaside resort of Ryde. Stroll along the elegant esplanade, visit Britain's oldest seaside pier, browse the independent shops or simply relax in one of the many cafés overlooking the Solent. Ryde offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the island at your own pace before returning to the hotel for your final evening.

Day 5

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the Isle of Wight and board the ferry back to the mainland before continuing our journey home, making suitable comfort stops en route.
