If you are looking for an excellent fun and action packed day out for all the family, you'll love the Great Dorset Steam Fair. Traditionally this English fair is held at the village of Tarrant Hinton, near Blandford Forum in the heart of the beautiful Dorset countryside.

Your Hotel

Best Western Hotel Royale is perched on the East Cliff in Bournemouth, the town centre is just a 5 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and beach. It has its own sheltered gardens, where you can relax and enjoy the sea air, or enjoy the large and airy indoor swimming pool.

Day 1
Depart West Wales in the morning and travel to Bournemouth, arriving at our hotel late afternoon and in time for our evening meal.

Day 2 & 3
Two days at leisure in Bournemouth or coach transfer to The Great Dorset Steam Fair, leaving the fair at approx. 7.30pm on the first night. Evening meal is included on both nights at the hotel (but it may be served too early for those of you who are visiting the Steam Fair).

Day 4
After a leisurely breakfast we will leave for home, with comfort stops en route.
