Wortley Hall Hotel was built in the 18th Century as a stately home and is set in 26 acres of ornate gardens. This plush hotel has warmly furnished rooms with flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities and free Wi-Fi.

Day 1
We depart West Wales making comfort stops en route before we arrive at our hotel.

Day 2-4
After breakfast we will make our way to Chatsworth House and Gardens (entry included). Chatsworth House is set in its own magnificent parklands, the house being recognisable as the setting for several films and TV plays. The house contains works of art that span 4,000 years, from ancient to modern and has over 30 rooms to explore. The Gardens are famous for its rich history and modern waterworks and sculptures, its Victorian rock garden and maze, there is something for everyone in the 105 acre Chatsworth Garden.

Today we will travel to Bakewell, famous for its Bakewell Pudding and Tart. Legend has it that the town's famous Pudding was created by mistake by a local cook in the mid-19th century. Today her delectable 'jam tart that went wrong' can be sampled at various bakeries and cafes and posted virtually anywhere in the world! We will continue our journey to Castleton, an outstandingly pretty village situated at the head of the lovely Vale of Hope, in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park. We will return to our hotel via Snake Pass passing Ladybower Reservoir which became famous as it was used by the RAF to practice for the Dam Buster's raids.

After breakfast we will travel to Matlock Bath. Matlock Bath is a unique village, nestled alongside the River Derwent in a steep and beautiful George. It developed as a spa town in the 19th century and was extremely fashionable and prosperous, with its spectacular scenery adding to the general appeal. We continue our journey to Crich Tramway Village, home of The National Tramway Museum (entry included). Here you can ride on a world renowned vintage tram through the unique period street, calling at various stops along the mile long track. There is plenty to do and see for everyone.

Day 5
Sadly, we depart for home, with comfort stops on route.
